Cornish Tin St Pirans Cross lapel/tie pin. The flag is commonly understood to represent the white tin metal against the black tin ore.Saint Piran is the patron saint of tin-miners. He is also generally regarded as the national saint of Cornwall. The lapel/tie pin is cast from South Crofty tin with a Sterling Silver pin and filled with Cold enamel. A lovely gift for family and friends to commemorate a traditional Cornish wedding. Made from 100% Cornish Tin, mined at South Crofty before closure in 1998 and reserved for our exclusive use.
