South Crofty Tin keyring depicting the tools used in early mining. Explanations vary as to the origins of the nickname “Cousin Jack”. Some say that Cornish miners became known as “Cousin Jacks” because they were always asking for a job for their cousin Jack back at home. With tin being the traditional anniversary gift to celebrate a 10th wedding anniversary, this makes an unusual present, a keepsake for years to come. A small and inexpensive birthday, Christmas and thank you gift for family and friends and a wonderful reminder of our Cornish History Made from 100% Cornish Tin, mined at South Crofty before closure in 1998 and reserved for our exclusive use. |
