South Crofty Tin 1998 Coin
The South Crofty coin was first issued in 1998 to mark the closure of the South Crofty mine, the last operating tin mine in Cornwall.
This replica coin has been hand crafted from 100% Cornish tin, the last reserves extracted from the South Crofty mine prior to closure and stockpiled for our exclusive use.
Presented in a suedette pouch and issued with a certificate of authentication explaining the origin of our tin together with information explaining the history behind the coin.
The full range of five coins may be purchased together, presented in a South Crofty gift box and including certification and explanation of the history of each coin.
